Talked to another barn today and they won't take my horse.  Because everyone is afraid of my little Rascal.  This is the third barn(out of 4) that won't take him.  They said they would try to work with him, but if he ever gets close to injuring someone they can't keep him.  My gosh, everybody is afraid of my little pony.  No kids ride there either(there's the little ones, like 5-6 and one 16 yr old).  So we'll see what happens, I might go look at it Wednesday(hopefully) but idk.

On the bright side, Rascal was pretty good to ride, he only stopped twice.  Got a pretty good gallop out of him too, did some serpintines with flying changes, figure eights, etc.  Acted pretty close to a normal trained horse.  But my back hurt too much to really do much with him, so he had it easy today.

Yep.....IDK about this barn though, they answered the phone a different name than it says online and on their website.........  And it sounds a bit too good to be true, swimming pool(for horses) 1/2 mile exercise track, bridlepath around property, huge fields(5 acres), 7 hour turnout(in groups), etc.  And I guess they do go to the NIHJA and A shows(bonus!!!) but only if it would be worthwile to go(meaning a horse is ready, not because they desperatly need money and insist on taking your horse) and it's only $500 a month....  I'm going to see it Wednesday or Friday, it was originally going to be Wednesday, but now my mom is talking about going Friday.  But then again, I'd rather go during the day(we can only go at night on Wednesday) to see everything outside, because as long as I can ride outside, I ain't gonna be riding in an arena there.

I reeeeealy hope you can go to barn #4. They should if they 'group pasture'. If they didn't want their horses kicked or anything then they wouldnt have it. Good luck!

Barn 1 is an eventing barn, all day turnout.  Won't take my horse.
Barn 2 is the one barn that will take him.  Turnout sucks(1 hour in a little, 20X30 foot dirt paddock)  I love everything about it, but I hate the turnout
Barn 3 is an A show barn, it's too expensive, and they don't seem to want to work with him to get him better
Barn 4 is this one(that doesn't really want him)  Barn 4 is this one we're looking at right now, they don't want him, they said they'd try and work with him, but my mom just told me that they don't really want to.  And he doesn't kick horses, he loves animals, it's just people that freak him out.  We know he was abused, but, yea, we have to work with him a looooooot because kicking is unacceptable whether you have been abused or not.  Period.  And I guess they rotate between the big field and individual dirt paddocks, so we'll have to see about that.  I'm a bit suspicious that they call themselves D-wood farms(name taken out for reasons) and answer as S-wood farms.  I was like okkaaaaaaaayyyyy

Is he a unpredictable or what? If that's why, I can understand that for liability reasons, they don't want workers getting hurt.

That place sounds amazing though! The price isn't bad either.
