| I love horse & rider. They have a lot of articles on training for mostly western events everything from WP, barrels, reining,roping,halter,showmanship,trail. They also have well known trainers that write big articles in every issue or a series of articles over several issues. In 2007 Stacy westfall did a series on training a horse almost from start to finish. Great article and now they are turning it into a book. John Lyons bringing up baby book first came from H&R because he wrote that series in the mag.

| I used to get it. I don't really do that much western, just some roping and team sorting, and loved it.

| I liked it when I got it but I ride english and i was in fifth grade so I think it was a little over my head. but I defenitly liked a lot when I got it.

| I have some old back issues that my friend gave me, but I don't read them b/c there's no English stuff in it. But sometimes I read the health articles.

| Cool. Thanks guys. I'm getting it for Christmas. Which sucks for me because my mom is going to snatch up all the magazines for November and December and hold them until christmas.
