| This summer, or shall I say next summer(2009) I am going to a western riding camp. Do you have any tips that could help me? Any secrets to help me learn faster? i currently do english riding, but which one is harder, or more fun?

| Just relax and have fun. They're not all that different so you shouldn't have much trouble. Ride in a longer stirrup, one hand on the reins for neck reining, sit back and deep in the saddle.

| Relax. It's not that hard. You don't even have to use one hand to hold the reins. Some people do. I just hold them loose in both hands. Western is easier.

| | just basically what everyone else said. i dont know if its easier, ive never ridden english, if i did, id be the laughing stock of the entire town. no offense to english riders. at all.

| Basically what the others said.
And if the instructors at the camp don't know your level, then tell them you're just starting, and they will defnitely help you in your lessons, etc.
