I have an Eygptian Arab and a half Arab Akhal-Teke. My mare is amazing, she has done crazy things yeah sure but I wouldn't be nearly as braze or bold as I am today if it wasn't for her and our crazy flips, stumbles, and rearing issues. She does whatever I ask be it Jumping, Polocrosse, Games, Dressage (she goes up to 3rd/4th level) and she loves to go swimming. Her son is the half arab, and when he was two he jumped a 5ft fence just becuase he wanted to (he got in bigg trouble too!) But we have high hopes for him now.

Honestly alot of the newer arabs are not very nice to look at and the are spooky and stupid. I much prefer the older bred arabs with a good head on their shoulders.

Have siggy need to put it up :]

I don't like them.. too typey for me. Same with Morgans, Saddlebreds, etc.

I like Lippit Morgans, though. Like Woody here:

Oh, Elias I see you there at work in the daytime
Do you think you could anwer all the questions in the world
In just one word? I think you could.
If you die will I get word that you're gone?
Or will I hear it in passing conversations?
Will I stop short and fall to the ground?
Distance is short when your hand carries what your eye found. <3

I'm personally not a big fan, solely because they tend to be pretty high strung. I'm not saying all of them are like that, but I've encountered a few that were borderline unpredictable. I'm also not into the dished face, but the tail carriage is beautiful.

Thanks ponyrainboots and horsegurl1993<3

They aren't any crazier than any other horse. I LOVE ARABIANS!!!! I have an arabian mare, and shes the most beautifulest thing in the world!!!! (yah i know!! no such word as beautifulest)  She loooooooooooooooves to race other horses!! I dont even have to do anything.I just say, "LEts go!" and she knows exactly what she's supposed to do!! She also likes to jump but she hasnt been trained well for it and she thinks she has to start galloping after she jumps!  anyway, you get my view on arabians!! lol

yes, they do tend to be crazier than other horse's cuz they're naturally high strung and hotblooded.

but as for racing, in a flat out race, i bet i would beat you. lol xDDD. my horse is like freakin' lightening. she's like your arab, you just say let's go! and BAM!!!

Holding you I held everything
For a moment wasn't I a king
But if I'd only known how the king would fall
Hey who's to say you know I might have changed it all

And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end the way it all would go
Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain
But I'd have had to miss the dance

This is coming from a QH person.

I looove Arabs. I first started riding on Arabs. None of which were crazy, and I have never actually met a crazy Arab. There's a few at the barn (when most of the horses  there are QHs), and their great horses. I like the bigger built Arabs, not the really little ones, but i'm a big horse person, so it would only make sense =P.

I reallllllly love arabs. there my favorite breed. Sonny is an arab. although he was sold, man i was sooo sad when they sold him. i cried my self to sleep every night cause me and him had this amazing bond we clicked right away and he always nickered at me when i came by, we were best friends. but now (after like a year) i'm back in with the arabs. i ride a arab named lou-lou, she is really amazing.  but i still cant forget sonny. when i started riding lou she just stood there, no additude or personality.(cause all the 6 yr olds rode her) she hasnt had someone to love her and ride her without pulling her in the mouth in years. so she would usually just trot around. now shes got me so she woke up!!! we're better friends now. she nickered at me and actually reconized yesterday so i think we're going to be close.
