| | Sorry and no offence but i cant stand them! yesterday i was watching the Paso Fino show on RFD-TV and i couldnt bare watch them trot and canter i mean after watching the western pleasure quarter and paint horses do their trot and canter really slow its like impossible for me to watch those mexico horses have such choppy strides No OFfence?

| Umm have you ever rode one? They are really smooth so don't really say they have a choppy stride until you ride one ok. Not trying to be mean sorry.

| The reason for their stride is that their gaited. Some people like gaited horses, some don't. It may not look nice to some, but it's actually really comfortable. I rode one on a trail ride in Aruba. I wouldn't want to own one, though.

| I like them, and i would love to ride one some day. But unfortunately IL isnt exactly the gaited horse central if you know what i mean XD

| um... they are actually really smooth. I own 1 and he is so sweet. you shouldn't say stuff about a breed if you have never rode one. they are gaited horses that's why they look so choppy but they aren't. they are gaited so they aren't supposed to trot or canter. it depends on if the owner/trainer wants them to trot or canter. they are SMOOTH.
