| Yeah, I wear a helmet. Everyone should wear one. I mean, it could one day save your life. I think that is important enough. I hope I don't sound rude, saying this and all. Sorry if you felt that way.

Heres a little story: This lady was on a completley bomb proof horse, cantering. Her horse trips and falls onto his knees, and the lady flies off. Of course, she didnt have a helmet. So she had a major concussion and was in the hospital for 2 days. I know you are like "That wont happen to me, and if it does, oh well". But really think about it...

I do care about my safety....cowgirl hats are a part of our western riding Attire so I personally dont think that you should go saying that "we dont care about safety"

Going around saying we don't care about our safety is pretty stupid...I don't say that just because you ride horses (which is one of the most dangerous sports) that you don't care about your safety...no, it's not that diffrent. I haven't worn my helmet in about 2 years.

| | Sorry guys. Please dont make this a fight. Im just saying that you have the oportunity to wear it at the barn, trails, etc. so you should. If you really cared about your saftey, youd wear it as much as you could... in my opinion. BTW: If you reply to this in a grumpy way, I wont respond.

| Yup, I do. The only times I haven't were on a dude ranch/trail rides on vacation and when I just sat on my pony and grazed him for a few minutes.
