You have good ideas! Make sure the closest thing to the camera is in focus, and if not, crop it out. The picture where you got your horse's rump in the foreground and his head in the background has potential, but you gotta make sure whatever's closest to the lens is in focus. I'm sure there are exceptions, but in general this is probably one of the most important rules. Good job, keep it up!

Focus focus focus! You want to have your subject as in focus as possible, and to kinda reduce the background images (like to fade it out). You have great ideas!
