Erkay, I'll change that.

Harper led Jake to the outdoor arena, then mounted. Once she was on, she stretched her legs around Jake's barrel, then settled her feet in the stirrups. She cued him for a working walk and set off around the rail of the arena at an energetic pace.

Yay purdy tack

Harper glanced over at the adjacent outdoor arena and saw Hal warming up. She tapoed her heels gently on Jake's sides and he sprung into a floaty trot. After a few laps, she asked for a canter, and Jake fell into his rocking-horse gait.

\o/ Purdy tack 4 lyf

After as many laps as Hal could take of Bee's excited trot, getting bouncier and bumpier, she cued him into a canter by leaning forward slightly and whistling a quick note. Bee responded by stretching out his neck, straining against the reins and sprinting at full-tilt in laps around the arena. Once Hal had gotten herself firmly set in the saddle, she said, "No, and leaned back. Bee slammed on the brakes, performing a magnificent sliding stop before dropping his head and panting. Hal patted his neck and cued him to canter again. This time, the black gelding took the cue smoothly and took off in his flowing, silken canter. He has a nice stride, Hal thought absently as they cantered a few laps. Not too long, not too short, and smooth enough to ride allllll day. After they'd warmed up, Hal did some figure eights around the barrels, starting with a trot.
