How should I wear my hair for western? I don't have a hat yet so I wearmy helmet at shows and I usually do a ponytail but that looks sorta sloppy and it covers my number and the pattern on my shirt. How should I do it if I am wearing a helmet?

idk, maybe you could make a ponytail, fold it on top of your head, and place the helmet over that. Or you could make a super-low bun. Ask your trainer for tips.

Only those who risk going too far, can possibly find, how far they can go.

I will when I have a chance. My show is Saturday. And I have to convince my mom that western riders don't wear helmets in shows :P she thinks I have to be safe even though everyone else has a hat. When I tell her that she says that I will be the lucky one because I won't get a concussion. Sigh... (Rolls eyes)

Once you succeed in buying a hat, do a low bun, something simple and quiet, like this:

close my eyes and cross my arms,
put me in the dirt, let me dream with the stars

Bun. Or you can braid ot amd fold your braid so ots like a nub. You want whatever shows the least amount of movement and looks the cleanest.

Thanks Abra!

i would reccomend a bun or something to that effect. I wear a helmet for barrels and other speed events for safety reasons and for western pleasure and that i wear one because my head is a odd shape lol and and hats dont fit my head properly. I havent gotten around to getting a custom one yet
