How many of you like to ride bareback or with a saddle? I like to ride bareback because I feel safer and more secure that way. How do you like to ride?

Both. I usually use a saddle, though, because my new horse is taller than me and I'd have to use a mounting block to get on his if I wanted to ride bareback.

That is exactly what I have to do :) plus prince likes to move when I try to mount :/

I like both. but on M&M bareback is easier becasue he will stand still while i mount. he won't when i'm using a saddle. he is so strange. :P

both. my pony can get wild though because he's not enclosed anymore so its nicer to ride with a saddle. but if he's calm i can get on bareback and gallop around.

Both. But mostly saddle my horse is not used to my long legs yet. So not much bareback.

I ride bareback every time I ride! I don't have a saddle so I have really no choice. She is really comfy, but she very mischievous.

I enjoy bareback more. I feel safer, but I love the "chalange" I give myself with a saddle. I have perfectly good balance in a saddle and am able to canter without stirrups brideless, but and I'm able to gallop bareback and bridleless for long periods. I am a qeen for galloping bareback. My modle is Stacy Westfall, the hall of fame champion! :)

I love galloping bareback. My favorite is jumping bareback. I enjoy challenges also. I'm already jumping 3 feet bareback so jumping four feet bareback is going to be a challenge.

Okay, I lied . My pony is only about 13 hh so I can't jump four feet. I jump about three feet even though my pony likes to jump two feet.

my butt always hurts after a while on bareback for some reason >.> although I loved it with Taxi! Star's a bit too jittery for bareback right now but I predict at the end of this summer I'll be able to give it a shot!

Saddle most of the time. I love bareback but Baylee isn't currently ready to be ridden bareback. But I ride bareback on other horses a lot.

Though she be but little, she is fierce

Bareback is my absolute favorite, but since I don't own or lease, I don't get to ride it very often. But I guess I appreciate it more because of that.
