I was actually just about to make one of the topics. xD Anyway...

-Breed snobs

-The barns in my area that practically deserve their own reality show.

-People that believe that all horses should either go in a snaffle or a pelham.

-People who let their horses get away with anything. I actually read an article by a big hunter trainer who said that if a horse that either she or a client was riding acted up, she'd untack the horse and put it back in its stall. Then the people at the shows I go to whose ponies refuse every fence because the trainer and rider let them. URG this might be my biggest one.

-Trainers that don't know what they're doing. Whether entering kids in a w/t class before they can post, or teaching 3'6" A circuit kids when they only ever made it to 3' at local shows, there's way too many out there.

-People who ride their horse with super tight reins all the time.

-People who jump when they don't know enough about it. I mean legitimate jumping, by the way, not popping over a log on a trail ride.

Used to be Princeshelby

Now he understood about animals; and in the moment that the horse turned from the stream and nudged Jonas's shoulder affectionately with its head, he understood the bonds between animal and human.

--The Giver

My horse is Max. You can call me Shelby.

-People who are anti-certain horse breed for no reason

-People at horse shows who jerk on their horses' mouths and continuously use spurs when they don't need 'em

-the extreme lowheadedness of the western pleasure horse. It looks totally out of whack

-People who ride their horses even if they are lame and dont care

-People that use wrong tack on their horse and ends up hurting them

-People who think they are everything when I can name like 20 things that they are doing wrong and is hurting their horse.

-Horses with no disicpline.

Thanks Michaela! :D

-people who think dressage is the only world

-snobs

-when Miracle thinks he can be a butt

-people who think gamers are cruel to their horses

-people who think spurs are wrong.

-when a horse isn't taken care of properly

-when horses have no discipline whatsoever

Insanely controlling trainers. Drives me NUTS when people say "oh no, I can't buy that halter/leadrope/saddlepad/polos/saddle/anythingthatisn'tedgewood/etc, my trainer won't like it!". Suck it up, buttercup.

People not knowing the difference between snaffle and curb bits
People who aren’t educated about the bits they use
Hating on certain breeds doing certain disciplines
Riders who think they're God's greatest gift to the horse world
Riding horses too young
Overjumping young horses
People who get on and immediately start to trot and canter and don’t warm up enough
Overtacking horses with gadgets they don't need
Horses that don’t get turnout
Riders with big egos

You've had enough, but just don't give up. Stick to your guns, you are worth fighting for. You know we've all got battle scars, keep marching on.

-People who think their horses are so high class they can't even turn them out for fear of them getting hurt. Absolutely hate that. The woman at the barn I work at never turns them out and I feel so bad for them. Let a horse be a horse.

-When people immediately go to a harsher bit, spur.. etc! Instead of actually figuring out the problem and fixing it.
-I dislike hoof picks with brushes. lol
-When people don't groom their horses after riding..

Ik, I've found many a time that the horse isn't being a ****, its reacting to whatever ill fitted bit is in its mouth and will go much better in a softer one :|. There is the odd 'iron mouthed beast', but especially with the ex racers, the horse wants a snaffle and the owner will have them going in some crazy combination of this bit, that noseband, this gadget, etc :|
