I also love making friends with other people's grooms and then asking them to tack up/groom for you. x]
like at one of the AA's i was supposed to tack up 2 small ponies for my trainer's kid and i asked one of the grooms to do it, and i didn't have to do a thing. ;)

Lol i think its impossible to sound less ungrateful and spoiled rotten little brat-like than you do right now.

well. that's your opinion.
but, i think anyone who is trying to tack up 3 horses by themself and has someone else offer to help do it would take that person up on it.

If someone would offer to help me then sure I'd accept, but the way you worded it made it sound like you would rather just let your job slip off to someone else so you could go drink lemonade or something

no, i was braiding/tacking up pfeffer, and i was asked to bring him, Sparkle, and Pumpkin up to the ring, and le nice grooms did both ponies for me, because they're nice.

abra... is perfect. <3 thanksss for the banner, lovely.

I love hanging out with my best friend and our ponies.
I love waking upat 5 in the morning either at her house or in a hotel room, and going to the barn to get ready/show.
I love when people look at me, and think, "wow, thats a nice horse."
I like placing, no matter what color, and those four seconds of when youre the only one walking to get what you deserve.
I love beating rich, spoiled brats that have everything handed to them - $60,000 horses, custom show clothes, tacked up horses, after I slaved my butt off and they know it.
I love the atmosphere of showing.
I love talking to other people.
I love the trailer ride home, unloading at midnight, and giving him his flake of hay and bran mash.
I love setting up our tack stall/stalls.

I love showing. x][/quote]

1. Winning (I mean really. You don't go to a competion to lose)

2. Hanging out with barn friends.

3. Getting hot dogs and burgers from the BBQ. Like a big horsey cookout.

4. Getting up at 5 in the morning.

5. Jumping (the intesity and the pressure and the competition...I love it)

6. THE ATMOSPHERE. Gotta love that, I mean seriously..how could you not?

7. And I did like it when an older, better rider gave me a compliment. That did make me feel good inside.

Thank you so much Abra for the amazing banner!

I hate showing. x] I just show to put more miles on my horses.
My favorite part is when the day is over and you can finally just relax and clean your horse's stall again and bathe them for the umpteenth time and sit in the aisle guzzling soda and watch other classes.

Ahhh, thisssssss. <333 I've never really been able to explain it, but basically you described my feelings perfectly. I love the end of the day when there's no more stress, the color of the ribbons don't matter, and you're just hanging out with your horse and watching all your friend's classes.

I love showing just my nerves get really bad. My favorite part is Jumping because I like having the ring to myself because it relives my nerves for some reason. :)

I love the night before a show week starts, usually on Tuesday/Wednesday. When it's dark outside, and you're schooling under the lights. You can only hear the horse and your trainer's voice. I loveee itttt. It's so calm. The days after (during the show) are never as carefree.
I also love being with everyone and the feeling after a great round (even if I don't place well).

Lol I hate when there are other people in the arena. My biggest fear is that I'm going to run someone over. x)

Seeing the pictures of my bad equatation and my odd hilarious faces. I hate when the photo people go around and take pictures at the second that you wish the most that they werent. :/

Honestly, I don't like to show. It's a lot off pressure and you and with teams, even more.
There's so much drama, and I'd just rather work on flats then waste my time with the young kids and the rearing greenies in the ring.

Tis is Sara.

That reminds me of the bareback dollar class last year. I think we each managed to take out 5 people in the middle of the ring. /random

I love the feeling of pride I get from placing second on the good-for-nothing, bad confo, unbalanced, $900 grade horse in a flat class in my horse's first ever show up against $10,000+ fancy purebreds. I probably have never felt prouder in my life, and we didn't even win.

I am in love with showing although I've only shown twice. I put too much pressure on myself and Baylee though (I'm a bit of a perfectionist). I started worrying about our first show in May back in like December. I just want to prove ourselves with this group we'd be showing with all summer and prove to certain people that Baylee CAN win hunter classes (he's never shown o/f yet). I just hope it all works out.

I made the banner. pm me for one!
