I do hate it when I hear that kind of ****! It makes me want to grab a gun and give them a lead bullet!
I think one of the most offensive things told to ma about horses was my neighbor started rattling off about how horses are "just plain stupid " and all you have to do is beat'em good and hard to make them listen. Then he went on to say.... Appaloosa's are the stupidest, bred for nothin but spots. Appy's being my favorite breed and the other comment I was pretty ticked off and it was all I could do to stay calm.

actually realy nothing that I can think of exept my friend(actually I don't even know if we are friends) at the bmx track always makes fun of me cause this one time I was joking and said "Yeah,Scouts my boyfriend" and Matt(the guy I am talking about) always is like making fun of me saying like "Just go play with your horse boyfriend",or is like "THe only boyfriend you have is a horse!" just stupid stuff 
Kim you seriously don't need to take me to the BMX track.. If you do Matt may not live through the night.

I'm a Christian. The reasin I was off for a week was because I slept in Sunday morning and missed church.

Mine hopefully fit into this category I have had tons of people say things about me and Jennie. I think most of the time they say it, is because Jennie is a donkey.But so what?? I am very happy I have her, but that is not where I am going with this. One time I was watching the national high school rodeo finals, and I told my dad Jennie and I would make it there, he said that Jennie would not stand a chance against those horses, and neither would I. He also said that those kids have been riding since they were 3! So what! i can catch up! And Jennie is awesome at running poles and barrels. It just hurt me really bad:( Another one that brings back bad memories, was I was lounging Jennie in my second outdoor arena, and this older guy (who Iknow not!) walked by our arena, and laughed, stared at Jennie and me and then said, to where I could here it, mule lover. I practically flew into a rage! I thought so what if I love donkeys and mules??!! But I shut my self up, and kept showing Jennie off. I have many more, but they all make me feel so down, I'd like to not tell them all:) Plus, it would take me forever to write all of them, that's how many I got! I also hate it when people say she cant do it, she is a donkey, so what! I love her to death! And I would not trade her for the world!:) I really love me donkey:)
Dang, that's some heavy stuff there. I have a mulieeee of my own. haha I love him. Poeple at the shows are all like OMG is that a mule!? And I'm just like yeah he is. And they'll have like this giant WB in the jumpers, and I go in w. my mule, and kick their butts.

i HATE it when people call horses and any other animals stupied i would just like to get up and slap them across the room !!!!!! i think anyone who says horses and any other animals are stupied belongs in a mental instution!!!!!

i was at a western clinic and the guys told me i had nice hips (i guess he saw while i was posting) for a fat girl and everyone stoped and i was like **** u did not say that and another girl told me i could only do western cuz i was probably to heavy to do 2 point for jumping! >:( some people are so rude if i were u i would have just punched that person in tha face right then and there !!!! sorry i can be rude at times

| I can think of another thing, this was before I owned Wildfire, so anyway. Brianna (Pony's old owner) got into the Championships at fair, and won Overall. The other people were very ticked because a pony beat their "Champion Horses" they were probably all like, "HA! Your riding a pony? Loser." But, Bri proved them all wrong, and I learned from her in 2010, and the year after that (2011) I did the best ever. Also her little sister Abby and I were talking, and I said that I am doing speed (barrels, poles, etc) with pony. She was like "Your doing speed with her?" and Bri told her that "the people that I got her from showed her in speed." So Abby got told. Plus the thing is she shows a POA. And go faster than her pony, so yup. The fastest time I have done with my 13.2 to 14.1 hand pony is 11 seconds. But I think I might get told off this year because I am doing lot's more work with pony, and I have a feeling that I am getting into champs again, so yup.
 We ask and not make. We use leg barely whip. We spoil and are spoiled. We don't beat we ask. We go fast and slow. We enjoy riding. We live to run. We love horses and they love us back. They stand by our side and we stand by theirs. We are Western Riders. <3

honastly, everytime someone says "horseback riding isnt anything near a sport, all you do is sit there" i just wanna strap them to my horse and see how "easy" it is to control a horse that wants to go, go, go all the time, wont listen to a single thing you say, wants to leave the arena all the time, and spooks when you even slightly tap her with your feet. she knows that i dont tolarate her non-listening skills so she listens to me, and trusts me enough not to spook. shes a whole different story when my brother is on her though

One time I was lunging Star while my big sister was watching. Star ran towards me( ya I know that sounds bad but I fixed the problem)then I took a step to the side. Right after that she told me "you need to sell that wild horse, it's too crazy for anybody". In my heart I felt so disappointed about the comment, I was about to cry! I told her it's something that happens in our horsey life! Every horse has a little glitch, but we can fix it. Then when we went home she just kept TALKING about it!
Many people think a special horse is one that has won tons of ribbons and trophies in competitions, but really a special horse is one that you have trusted, and ran around with, and shared an apple with. A special horse is one you can have a picnic or sleep under while he stands quietly, a special horse is one you can trust to not trot away while you mount, a special horse is one that you have shared many memories and fun times with. Yah...maybe my horse hasn't won a ribbon yet, or ran a cross country course, but I still shared my very first ride with her, and my very happy memory of my first jump.She is the one who gave me that special moment of running free and flying. Now that is a special horse.
