Caught In The Act (3/14/2010)
Hunter/Jumper13 (3/14/2010)
If you actually think about it four feet six inches isnt really that high.

That's what you think until you try to jump it ;]

Exactly!

They're freaking 5 feet in the air!

How do you expect them to have textbook perfect equitation. Their horses are jumping them out of their tack!

Snaffs

Mmmhm. Especially since the horses needed for that level of competion HAVE to be good jumpers, and it's so much harder to keep your eq on a horse that's throwing itself in the air and using it's back than on a school pony that can clear some decent jumps but is pretty flat. Like when I moved from Welly to Axel, I'm still having eq problems. I jumped 3'3" on her and my eq was pretty good, but on Axel he jumps me out of the tack over anything 2'9" or bigger. I was just saying it makes me feel better to know that not everyone has to perfect eq to be a good rider

If you actually think about it four feet six inches isnt really that high. I bet I could actually dive over it. Plus those pros really dont have th best form. Isnt that sad?
