So duuudessss. I got my rejection from Delacorte the other day.
It was weird.
My mom was upset. I was sorta happy....? xD The more I was waiting, the more I realized I didn't want to be under the complete control of a HUGE company such as Delacorte when I was first starting off, and none of the past winners went anywhere, so yeah. xD Besides. I was never going to win. A suicide ending in a Young Adult Novel for ages 12-18? Nada.
But yeah. I'm not posting it so you all can go "AWW I'M SORRY." Actually, that will annoy me =/ Because I'm not sorry. The only thing I'm upset about is that they held me until March 5th and award the winners in late March, but felt no need to acknowledge the fact that I was -clearly- a finalist. Whateverrrrr.
I submitted a query to Avon Romance for their paranormal section on Monday... that'll be 4-6 weeks. I'll be looking for any other publishers accepting unsolicited manuscripts/maybe -MAYBE- looking into agents..? Prolly not. The publishing world's so set out for everyone to lose. Publishers won't accept unsolicited manuscripts, but agents won't accept you if you're not published. It's a lose-lose situation. BUT I INTEND TO WIN =)
So ja... just thought I'd let you all know.Edit- Cow's swelling went back up =/

Thanks, guys =] I've been up to take up of his poultice every two days, and the swelling went down, but on Wednesday, it went back up in his ankle.

Er yeah, the stuff stops working after 12 or 24 hours depending on what it is, plus you should never leave a horse wrapped longer than 24 hours at MOST, which is probably also why you're still seeing swelling o.O I know what you mean about nothing good, I'm getting sick of everything at the moment.
