Is there a difference between the smooth ones and the ribbed ones? Just wondered, I've only ever bought the ribbed ones before but I can only find what I need in smooth so I wanted to make sure they were the same.

I think the only difference would be if one had velcro and the other didn't.  And then it would be a matter of personal preferance. You aren't looking for large/XL ones by any chance, are you? I have some I got for my mare, put on her like, three times, and realized they were too big for her.

Large, yeah xD But they have to be black and have velcro, I cant stand the pull on ones. I dont mind getting them on, but taking them off is brutal xD

They're the same, as far as I know. Velcro one's are better though, because they actually come off. xD

yeah, same here, I never have and never will buy the pull ons xD
only if I needed them to turn my horse out or something, just so I know there's a very slim chance they'll come off xD
