So my pony always gets shoulder rubs from his blanket... quite annoying. BUT, I found something that gets rid of them really easily: extra virgin coconut oil. Haha, I know it sounds weird, but it works great. You can get it a lot of different places, but I get mine at Walmart. It's in with the vitamins and medicine and stuff... no clue why. So yeah, hope this helps somebody. :)
(I'm extremely bored right now, hence why I'm posting this)

Most horses get rubs when their blankets are too big and moving around. Solution? Get a smaller blanket.

Yes I know that. I was just saying that once you HAVE them, this is a good way to make them go away faster.

Hm...interesting. If it ever happens to one of the horses I ride, I'll remember that.

sitbacnroc (3/11/2010) I use baby oil or Vaseline. Works wonders! I love vasaline for little cuts. I don't, however, like when you put it on a cut on their face and they proceed to rub it off on your pants. Grease stains are a B!T)$ to get out of clothing.
