My horse has this habit of pulling on the bit.  It's really annoying!  Any tips on training him not to do that? Thanks!

Maybe A.  You need a new bit or B.  You need to get his teeth done by a vet!

I would think about trying a new bit as well. My horse used to pull on the bit a ton and then I got a new bit and she stopped! Try a jointed one if yours isn't already jointed, he may like it better. If the bit isn't the problem, I would really just stop and collect him whenever he does this. Really put your leg on him and make him soften his poll and accept the bit nicely. Make him walk and jog nicely while accepting the bit and not yanking on it a ton. If he starts to just stop, back him up, and collect him. Hope this helps!
