I am starting showing this year and I would like to know what types of tack, grooming supplies and anything else to bring to shows. I will be doing gaming, western pleasure, halter classes/showmanship and western equitation. Thanks!!!

Thank you -Event~Rider- for this amazing banner!

Well, your tack is really important, so don't forget that, lol! But here's a few things you might need.

Tack: Saddle(s) and covers. You might use a different one for gaming and regular riding, I don't know! Don't forget girth of course. Saddle pads are important too! Bridle(s). Halter for halter classes. Any other tack you usually use that's show appropriate. Lunge line and whip. Blanket and sleezy, cooler (the blanket kind, not food kind!)

Clothing: Eq pants and shirt for eq and pleasure, chaps if you want. IDK what people wear to halter classes! Whatever you usualyl wear to gaming. Western hat or helmet, hair net. Boots, socks, spurs, etc.

Miscellaneous: Paper towels, baby wipes, vaseline, hoof black, saftey pins, bobby pins, hair gel, fly spray, scissors, zip ties, number pins, bands, brushes, buckets, bucket straps, first aid kit, cloth towel, hoof pick, pen, paper, class schedule, cooler with snacks, hay and grain so your horse can munch between classes to keep his energy up, carrots for your horsey!!

I'm probably forgetting some stuff, but here's a general idea of what I take to horse shows. I ride english so there might be some western stuff I don't know about, lol! Oh, and don't forget your horse!! Have fun, showing is awesome!
