Okay my chaps are so dirty it's sad. They have mud caked on at some part, and some part the look brown, even though they're purple. How do I clean them? They are synthetic and all the tag says is 40 degrees. Can I hand wash them in cold water? I think they are beyond being brushed clean.

are they dublin?? they sound like it..you could most likely be able to wipe off with a damp cloth, and then let them dry. or use a hard brush?

If they're synthetic, then you can wash them in water.

I usually just wipe my half-chaps with a damp cloth.

I put my pink ones in the washing machine and then let them air dry.
