But please no bashing them! Ok so what do you like and disslike about Paints.I love them and they are great horses to own, love, and ride. They do tend to be hard to groom tough... trust me.

As for grooming tips, dip your brush in water(just a tad bit) and it should help A LOT of getting the dirt out. . .

I rode this one Paint once or twice. He was a real sweetie, and a gentleman who tried so hard!
Though they don't do very well in the Hunter ring from my barn's experiences.

| I LOVE my Paint (QH type) mare. She has a regal attitude, and thoroughly believes that she is queen. DEFINETLY alpha mare (I think she knows she has Zippo in her). She is B-E-A-utiful *pointstosiggy*, not that I'm biased ;) Only dislike is that her nose isn't velvety. :( She took awhile to trust me, but other than that great and fairly easy to train. They are a very versitale (spell fail) breed, can do anything from eventing to reining. Grooming tips: I use baby wipes to get gross stuff off of her white/pink nose, and I keep her white legs clipped for easier cleaning. Also daysheets work really well for keeping them from getting dirty in the first place. Oh, and as a Paint owner, QUIC SILVER shampoo has become my hero. And showsheen-type products for repelling stains.

I love paints!! I ride one named Grace (you'll see a pic of her soon). She is the best!! She does have a stubborn streak in her though, just like me lol. Paints are so versatile, too. There's nothing hotter than this!!

Horse self groom them selfs by rolling in mud then letting it dry. Then they roll in dirt to pull the mud off. This helps the horse to cool down, get rid of loos hair, and pull the dirt up of of there skin. When they do that, their skin produses natrual oils to protect its skin. I'll look into the QUIC SILVER shampoo. I have heard of it before and it is suposed to be really good. Abouit how much does it cost?

Abouit how much does it cost? yeah I don't really use day sheets except at shows, (because my trainer has it) but i didn't know they could lose their shine! quic silver.... hmmm my trainer just gave me 2 bottles of it, so I'm not completely sure. it probably depends on where you get it, but it's maybe around 6/7 $ for a 8oz.ish bottle? but usually i just have to use it on her legs and parts of her body that have really bad stains.

paints are so pretty. I sometimes ride a paint named Amber. The only problem with her is her bad temper. She hates being girthed and groomed an the stomach! she really sweet though. she has arthritis.
