Finally Dawn relaxed her canter strides, and Chad gave her a pat on the neck.

Espresso let out a whinny and started speeding up into a gallop, half bucking. Leah firmly pulled back on the reins, but her horse didn't stop. He let out a louder whinny and bucked even higher, almost throwing Leah off. She patted her horse's neck and finally got him to calm down. Once he was back in a steady lope, Leah just sighed and acted as if nothing had just happened.

I can feel so much,
Since I've found you
Lookin' through the eyes of love.
And now,
I do believe,
That even in a storm we'll find some light;
Knowin' you're beside me,
I'm alright.

ooc I'm going to speed the day up a bit if you don't mind.

The group had been riding for a few hours and it was nearing 12:00."I think we should stop and give the horses time to rest."Jen voiced.

"Yeah, thats probably a good idea," Leah said with no emotion. She was tired; sleeping on a rock floor wasn't the most comfortable place to be. She took a deep breath before leading Espresso to a large tree.

Jen dismounted and lead Quiz to a small stream that hadn't been frozen in last nights storm. Quiz lowered his head and drank the water.

Leah hadn't seen the stream and was glad that Jen had seen it. She dismounted and led her horse to the stream. Espresso immidietly lowered him head and started to drink the water.

Chad pulled Dawn up, then dismounted. He led her over to the stream, and she drank deeply.

Espresso's ears went back as he stopped drinking the water. Leah pet him on the nose and his ears went back to their original position. She thought of how it would be to be her horse's in this situation. It must be hard, having to carry someone and not getting as much food as you're use to. After she stopped thnking of that, she tied Espresso to the tree.
