Kate was thrown forward, trying to regain her balance on the galloping horse as she fumbled with the reins. Finally, she sat up again and had herself collected. She turned and looked at Conrad, a relived sigh exploding from her as she smiled weakly to him. "Some show!" She laughed, shaking her head.

Ok, so Slick and Kimmie stayed up on the hill. Kate went down and they caught her. THEN, they tied her to a tree adn Conrad to a tree, she cut her ropes and Conrads with a pocket knife. Then the men saw, so they ran after them. THey tackled Conrad. Then Slick and Kimmie went down the hill Slick got them off of Conrad, and there all galloping away with the men chasing them.

Isn't that where I always end up when I get off? Thanks!

Kimmie pushed Fauna faster.

Slick moved Durango at a slow pace down the hill.

Conrad nodded to her letting her no, he was about to attemp. "Kota!" his whispered. Nothing. "Kota." he said again a little more loudly this time. A man glanced over. "Hey... hey guys! There loose!" he yelled. All the men turned then suddenly leaped up racing over towards them. "KOTA!" Conrad yelled. But nothign happened. Suddenly Dakota galloped up next to Conrad, giving a soft nicker. The men reached up grabbing for Conrad. Conrad grabbed Kate's waist and threw her up on Kota, then slapped his butt. But he was suddenly tackled and tooken down. Suddenly Slick galloped up out of no where shoving me out of the way, knocking the off of Conrad. Conrad leaped over Dakota's butt, behind Kate and kicked him. SLick did the same and soon the two horses were galloping madly together.

Conrad sighed at the feel of free wrist. "Hurry go back to your tree and act like your still tied, while I check something." He said crawling over a little ways. He returned and glanced at her. "Ok, i'm gonna call Dakota, you gonna have to mount quickly." he whispered.

Kate nodded once, chancing a glance at the men before she walked over to him. "Hold on." She muttered, kneeling down and snapping the ropes.

Conrad watched her intently, chuckling quietly to himself. "Learning how to get around on you own eh?" he whispered. "Here, undo me, quickly, one glance back and they'll see us." he said watching the little group around the fire.

Kate fought the ropes again, ignoring Conrad for a moment while she waited for the men to turn their backs. "No," She finally whispered to him, grabbing her knife out of her back pocket. She fumbled with it, trying hard not to drop it. She twisted it up, trying to rest it on the rope to cut it loose. Finally, she shred one of the ropes and twisted around, grabbing the knife and cutting the rest of them that bound her to the tree.

The men roughly grabbed her and twisted her wrist backwards, pushing her over to a nearby tree. An older guy slammed her hard against the tree, while another guy quickly bound her hands. They got up and moved on, setting down next to a small fire. A couple men grabbed Conrad and pushed him over to a tree next to her, quickly bounding him as well. Conrad glanced over to her quickly throwing a worried look. "You ok?? Did you come here alone?" he asked worriedly shifting his seat.

Kate struggled to pull free, trying to yank her wrists free with no luck. Finally, she stopped fighting them, giving in to what they wanted.

"Ru..." Conrad started but one of the men slapped him briskly across the face. Conrad lost his balance from the smack and fell to the ground. The man groaned and rubbed his jaw. "Get her!" A couple men raced after her grabbed her wrists, and tackling her to the ground.

Kate struggled backward, twisting out of his grip and flinging her hand up, punching him right in the jaw.

The man yanked out a knife and held it to Kate's neck and laughed. "Let go of her!" Conrad yelled jerking forward but was sternly pulled back again, into the two mens rough grip. The man held the knife closely to Kate's neck and said. "I dare you to move missy."

Kate screamed in sudden surprise, fighting against the men who held her. "Let me go!" She demaned, yanking against him to try and break free of his hold.

"Oh boy, girls never learn." he moaned. "We can take em like that, theres way to many they'll easily overtake us, especially if we just run right to em!" he said. "Put you gun away, hurry. We'll just have to go after Kate in a min. We can't go now, they'll be ready for all of us, three against 8, skilled men isn't possible." He said reining Durango towards some brush.

Conrad turned in surprise. "Kate?" He was on the ground a man standing next to him. "Kate! Watch ou.." he started to say. A man suddenly grabbed Kate's waist and pulled her off of clover.

Kate looked at the men, finally spotting Conrad. "Con!" She yelled, weaving into the middle of the pack to try and reach him.

Kate's heart jumped when she saw the movement of the others. "C'mon babe," She called to Clover. The mare shot forward, rushing past Slick and Durango and gaining ground on the other men until they were just a few feet behind.

let say its been 15 min, steady gallop.

Durango continued to stretch out and gallop strongly, even though he was lathered in sweat. Suddenly somthing caught Slick's eyes. "There they are!" he said pointing to a little blur of color far away in the distance.

Slick studied the tracks as they galloped by and frowned. "Nope, they deffinetly got a lead on us.." he muttered pushing Durango faster. Durango flew across the plains his feet sometimes not touching.

Kate slowed Clover a bit, making the mare go behind Durango so Slick could lead the way. "Are we close Slick?" Seh called out to him, worry leaking through her voice.

Durango flew out of the woods into giant feilds, galloping strongly. Slick leaned down crouchting low urging him on.

Slick found hoofprints and pushed Durango into a slow canter following the trail. "Ok, if we hurry we might be able to catch up to them." He sighed letting Durango loose into a raging gallop.

What happened?

OK the men tied Kimmie and Kate to a tree, knocked Slick out, and beat Conrad. Then they took conrad and left Kimmie & kate tied, slick nocked out. Slick woke up and untied Kimmie and Kate and now they are mounting to go find Slick.

And were gonna say Slick woke up 15 min after Conrad was taken.

Slick looked down staring at the ground, looking for any signs of tracks.
