Yes get black chaps if you plan on using a tan saddle(or somewhat near it) and black chaps even look good with black saddles also. and um I have my own personal opinion with tan, silver and black. If I were me I wouldnt use the tan hat, just the black.

Yes, black is better because it'll match. Tan would most likely clash.

I'd do black, to match with the saddle. In all the magazines and books I've read about Western shows, they say that the judges mostly like clothes and tack that coordinate well with each other, as well as how weel they coordinate with the horse. You might want to think about that, too.

okay so im going to a western show on sunday and i have to use a black saddle. I also need chaps asap. I bought a black/silver show shirt, and i think that I might need to get tan chaps to stand out against the saddle.
BUT! im planning on buying my own saddle soon, and it will be brown or tan. So! should i buy black or tan?
ps my hat is tan. my riding helmet is black.
