gypsy vanners a rip off?

ok so I heard that gypsy vanners can be a real rip off because apparently theres only one family you can buy them from that can be really registered in the gypsy vanner registry. and I guess there just really hairy cobs and you can find like 4 of them in every backyard in Ireland. I still think they're really pretty though. oppinions?

Oh my gosh! I just LOVE Quarter horses to death! When I used to take lessons I rode a QH named Cherokee... I only got to ride her once, my last lesson. I haven't ridden her since June of last year. I'm going to start lessons again in Sept... I REALLY hope I get to ride her! She had the smoothest gaits and was really sweet, that's when I fell in love with QH's ... I want to buy her really badly, because I think the owners might be willing to sell her if she is boarded at their stable or something.

Ok... so I'm writing a book about horses. And if it's really good then I can get it published. If i get it published then my parents say I can get a horse. What breed of horse would be best for an intermediate level rider?

Sorry and no offence but i cant stand them! yesterday i was watching the Paso Fino show on RFD-TV and i couldnt bare watch them trot and canter i mean after watching the western pleasure quarter and paint horses do their trot and canter really slow its like impossible for me to watch those mexico horses have such choppy strides

Stormy is 14.2 hands.She is stocky short legs.shes a red roan has striped hooves.short black/white tail same as mane.She is fast very fast actually.Can outrun 2 AQHA's.So I was wondering is she more poa or appy.She has a dished in head to not a lot but she dooes.She has the fast trot and walk.It feel like she should be cantering but shes only troting.small head too.

i liove em both i cant make up my mind!! i rode an arabian once i and fell inlove then they she was sold now i lease a tenn. walker he is my big baby!! i love liike a bigillion times!! well a lot of ppl dont like walkers 4 some reason!! but i love em!! the boy i ride is a odd color for a walker- black and white! there are few of those out there!!

off topic but i dont want to clog again!! --- school--- whio started? i did yesterday was freshman orintation with out upper classmen and today was the firstt first day of school im a freshman it is not sooo bad!! ppl r nice but this mornin these guys walked into my gym class and were like any1 see egyptions walking bye and we were like no! then my friends and i didnt kno we were allowed to walk around b4 1st per so we (my friends me and all other freshman) were at our 1st per class 20 min early!!! it was funny then we ate our lunch in like 5 min and we had 40 min left we had noo idea what to do and alll freshaman had no idea were we were supposed to sit 4 lunch so evry freshman sat in the freshman hallway!!

ok, so why are their backs shorter? one less vertabrea (sp?) or one less rib?

cuz i always thought it was one less vertabrea but then someone told me it was one less rib...i'd never heard of that before...

name the breed, then name the most common use for the horse.

for example if the breed was a holsteiner, the common use would be riding, driving, & competition.
