So first off. Two things. First I need to thank you all for FB messages or PMs and just keeping my family and friends in thoughts and prayers. Things went amazingly well yesterday, the service had over 600 people and half were teenagers that got saved. Seth would have loved it. His friends are doing better as is our family. Next. I know these pictures are late. There won't be many because I have alreayd made two whole longggg topics that took forver and the computer freaked each time and dumped them and I have to re-start. So it may be slightly brief.

All the horses are doing well, I have been able to ride Sampson in the ring a bit just simple X's and w/t/c and Ezra is doing just wonderful. He was very shy and spooky at first but now he follows me around and is quite the curious one. So I have many pictures of all 3 horses and Ezz.

So deffinately long time, no type? ahah but a lot of things have shifted around in my pony world. And I realize I highly doubt I know anyone on here any longer; well I know some people(;
So hm, let's see. We should start with. . .
Splash;
He's completely freaking amazing [and qualified for USEF Pony Finals as of February 14th :D] other than the fact that he's on stall rest for 26 more days because of an irritated tendon surrounded by inflammation. He's not lame; he's on stall rest to prevent lameness. Once the inflammation reduces, we'll re-xray and make sure the inflammation isn't due to a bone clips; but the vet is thinking not. We'll slap shoes on him, because our best efforts were to keep him barefoot, but at the 3' height it's just too much on his legs, and he'll go right back into work to try to qualify for USEF Pony Medal(:

he's fab. doing absolutely amazing, not really where I wanted him to be by this time, and still quite green over fences, but working his way up. He went to be tried as a lease, but the girl was too timid of a rider. So he's back under full riding by mwahh, and doing amazing. His changes are 110% there and we're schooling 3', showing the 2'6 on the add one, he's not quite ready for larges.

well he's beyond amazing, come so very farr. But since he has and I'm ready to bring in some new projects he's been passed down for my sister to show in short stirrup, so I don't ride him but twice a week for training rides. He's freaking awesome though, I couldn't have asked for a better project.

Courtney King?? (dressage rider) She was riding her horse but it tripped, then she fell on her head but she didn't have a helmet on.(she normally wears a helmet.) She is now in a coma and they do not know when she will wake up.

So what application on your computer do you guys use to make the pics for your signature? I have just got a new windows computer and it doesn't have any photo editing program at all! I can't stand not being able to edit and play around with my pics! I also have apple laptop (iBook) that the school gives us so if you know of any photo editing program for that then that would be great. But it has to be free cus the school will not let us buy things on our iBook.

the title says it all.
So on the 28th of February, we switched barns!
The first week the trainer got on him because she wanted to know how he acted with me. She decided that I need to wear my spurs again because he does not move off of my leg.
Also he has been refusing a lot, so I smack him on the but and then he bucks. Well since he is use to me doing that, he bucks and rears on his own. Now I kick him that doesn't help much.
He has gotten a lot more confident taking the long distances at 2'6 hight. (Normally he wouldn't do it). So now he does it like there is no problem to it at all.
On Monday we were working on his right drift so we put the jumps up to about 3'3 on the right side and 3' on the left. thinking that he would stay in the middle or go to the left. Nope he jumped the right side. He was still so good though and cleared it. (first time we jumped 3'3 together)
Also I went cross country schooling on Saturday, he jumped every thing and went down a 2'6 bank. Then he went over the ditches(he hates ditches with a passion) After that I cooled him around bareback and the little kids played around with him and walked around on him.
Then today(Wednesday) I'm sorta sick so we kept the jumps about 2'4ish and worked on staying constant. We also worked on bending lines and roll backs.
Now I have a show on Saturday, so I'll try to get videos and pictures.

Since I don't really talk about my equestrian life on here, I thought I would do an update. For those of you who don't know, I am a western rider. I mainly do barrel racing and reinning (strange combo, I know)

I finnally got back to riding, only to have it be stopped by nonstop rain :P. Eeyore (my shetland pony) is doing great, except we beleive he is beginning to go blind. Within the next week, we will find out from a vet what is going on with that. Besides that, he is as wild and as stubborn as ever :D.

Star is also doing good. She is loving barrel racing as much as ever. She is one of those horses that just plain ol' loves it. She starts prancing whenever she sees the barrels and my dad and I have even caught her out there galloping around them some (I'm serious, I know it sounds unbelievable, but I am not joking). We are going to be trying out a new farrier, because the last one caused Star to jump through a gate. She slapped her while Star was tied up in front of a fence....this farrier should be promising, becuase I have checked around and he is a good horse person, and specalizes in working with barefooted horses.

My first show is supposed to be April 10, but so far it looks like that is not going to happen. If it does happen, me and Star will be competing in halter, showmanship, trail, WP, barrels, and poles. But due to the fact its the day before my sister's b-day is the day after the show(yeah..she is highly against me competing becuase of that), and my parents just dont like hanging around horses, like I said before, it might not happen. :/

Here's me when I first learned to canter. I'm riding a horse named Gwen who is an arabian saddlebred. I was about 12.

Now I'm riding another arabian/saddlebred, Stryker who was quite the handful but I worked with him all the way until I got George. This is at my first show. It's just a schooling show. Also about 12.

Leg Exercises

XD So, I'm Tikki Sarubi, or Maria, whichever. I own a pinto/arab named Khokhopelli. My UN is Tikki Sarubi because that was my old pony's name, but I had to sell her because she had navicular. I joined about 3 years ago... I'm not sure. But yeah, that's me in a nutshell. Oh, and I'm 14. And so is Pelli. lol. Hopefully that clears things up.

About three months ago, I took a pretty rough fall off of an Arab rescue. It pretty much shattered all the confidence I had built over six years, and I haven't been able to ride the rescues or jump Noble at all. The only horses I've felt comfortable on are Opie and Chinook, which is saying something, because I was referred to as the 'guinea pig' of the barn, mostly because of my insane lack of fear. My trainer is no help; she doesn't take me seriously. I'm going to try having my dad talk to her next week. Do you have any ideas on how to get my confidence back up, or how to talk to her?
