ok, what is Adiquan? Noah gets it injected every month, it's the only way to keep him sound or comfy, he used to jump, but not anymore, and he's only 11. IS their anything I can do for him to help him? He's really ouchy without it, and if you rub certain parts on his shoulder/chest, he's really touchy and he gives me the look that says:" It hurts me, so stop it, but I'm too much of a gentleman to bite you." He didn't get one in september, they forgot, and they are going to start him on it again. But three questions:
1. What is Adiquan?
2. what does it do?
3. can I do anything else?

It's an intramuscular injection for treatment of joint degenerative issues and diseases. It can be used alone or in conjuntion with joint injections. It helps the injections last longer which will save you money in the long run and stops the progression of the diseases. I believe it is injected for one week everyday and then once a month from then on, I could be wrong on the time frames, so someone correct me if they know. The results I have seen have been amazing. At first it may seem pricey, but it is completely worth it.
