| My horse Rainy is a QH foundation paint. I ride him english and he does pretty well. He is green so we aren't jumping or anything, just working on how to be a good all around horse. He's a good boy (for the most part....=p). I strongly don't like QH that have low set necks. No offense to those of you whom work hard to get your horses head down there, and take pride in your horses head being down there, and I understand that it is required for you to succeed in western pleasure and all other classes which require your horse to have a low set neck, I just personally REALLY don't like them. That probably comes from my natural interest in dressage and english where the horses heads are up. I'm also not a huge fan of the super stocky QH (yeah I now I like everything abut a QH that is not supposed to be like that...=D) but overall they are OK. It probably also has to do with the fact that EVERYONE where I live has QHs (if they have a horse). So how did I end up buying one? Only god knows...

| | Eh, their ok. Not my fav, but definatly ok. I'm just not a fan of when they have those really low necks when they have and english saddle on them. Wait let me get a picture....
I REALLY don't like that. It's just like you might as well make that saddle a western saddle because it would probably look a whole lot better. (no offence to anyone)

| Omg, I have a Quarter horse! His name is Duke, he is a 12 year old dark bay gelding with 3 white socks, a white blaze, and a black leg. He is 15.3 hh, and loves to jump! Unfortunatly, Duke, or Chocolate Therapy (Duke's show name ) just got put on stall rest for an ENTIRE YEAR with no turnout or anything! Now I can't ride poor Dukey for a whole year... :'( *cries*
(Picture of Duke hopefully coming soon lol) |

| I love them! I ride an American Quarter Horse or an American Quarter Horse Cross named Rio. He is so sweet! Here are two pictures of him-just click on the blue question mark boxes to view them.
