Hey does anyone know how to rope? like i can't figure out how to even through the stupid rope!!!!! hahahahahaaaahahahah so like i won't be roping cows anytime soon (only my little sisters and my dog lol) but can someone give me some tips?!?!?! thanks!!!

I actually dont rope but my uncle does but I just want to breakaway rope thats all. It just takes practice, practice and practice!!!

Well, I actually just started roping. We got this dummy called a "hot heels", and it's like an exact replica of a steer, and you pull it with one horse, and head or heel it with the other.  It's great to practice, but they are VERY expensive, so you wouldn't really want to get one unless you are really serious about roping. 

Anyway, you just have to practice every single day to get used to it....It's not an easy thing to explain over the computer, but it's all about practice basically.

Like everyone else said practice. And i think there are a few DVD's out there that go over the very basics of roping like how to hold the rope, throwing that type of thing. I used to do a lot of team roping but then i got out of it for awhile and now I need to do it again and i need a lot of practice, lol.
